How To Run A Review Site, Meta Title & Description Tags

This morning I started working with a review site at WoodenClimbingFramesUk.co.uk. The client currently owns ClimbingFramesUK.com. The intention of the review site is to drive additional traffic to its main website. Lee pointed out that this isn’t a bad strategy, but in this particular case this clients business isn’t ready for it. The client insisted that we continue to work with it, so I proceeded with the work. Lee’s main point was this- Before expanding your business make sure that there is no other work to be done on your main site. At that point then you can start looking outside and trying to gather additional traffic to your site. What we covered today is outlined below:

  • When should you build a review site?– As I stated above there is a point in your business that it can be beneficial, but doing it too soon can distract you away from higher profits.
  • How should your review site be set up to give your the most value?– What is the purpose of your review site? What is the best way to structure your site?
  • What the major benenfits of having a review site? How does your business benefit from your review site, and how do you maximize this benefit?
  • Meta Title & Description tags in your review site– Why I spent over 4 hours today just on this section of the website!
