Well the day is here and I am finally on my way to England. It came a lot faster than I thought it would have. Last night was hectic as I ran around packing my bags and doing finishing touches with unfinished projects. I got to the airport at 8:20am; my flight was supposed to leave at 9:45am and has already been delayed twice. My route has also changed from going to SLC, to Atlanta, to Gatwick Airport in England. I will now be flying to SLC, to Cincinnati, to Gatwick. If all goes as planned?? With my original plans I was supposed to be traveling for 23 hours, this just might be a long day.
As far as my plans so far, Lani (my wife) has a hostel booked for me for the first 3 nights in Brighton, England. These are the only plans I have set out for certain thus far. All other plans will be put together once I get to England and start to get a feel for things.
I just received another update for my 3rd delay; the new departure time will be at 11:45am.
